1980 - at the age of 5 entered a music school;
1981 - at the age of 6 won a competition of young pianists,
held by the famous Korean newspaper «Hangug Ilbo» in
Pusan;
1983 - won a competition held by the «Hangug Ilbo»
publishing agency; became a prize winner, was awarded a bonus and
the title of laureate and the title «Best Student of the City»
(Pusan, Korea);
1986 - won a competition held by the music journal «Mounthly
Music» in Pusan;
1987 - got 3rd place and became the laureate of the 17th
National Piano Competition in Seoul, held by the famous South-Korean
producer of pianos and grand pianos «Samick»;
1990 - won the competition of laureates - 1st place, prize
winners of regional contests in Seoul;
1991 - entered a specialized music school «Pusan Yesul
Cotynhakkyo»
1994 - 96 - studied at Dong-A University in Pusan (the faculty
of instrumental music, piano department). During the course she
received a scholarship as the best student of the university;
1996 - was a soloist at one of the concerts, dedicated to
the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Dong-A University in Pusan;
1996 - participated in Summer School organized by the Saint-Petersburg
State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov; master classes
with Prof. Murina;
1997 - entered the piano faculty of the Saint-Petersburg
State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, the class of
professor V.O. Shakin;
2000 -performed together with one of the leading professors
of New England Conservatory in Boston (USA) Simon Young Kim, the
student of the one of the greatest violin players of the 20th century
Jascha Heifetz;
2001 - gave a solo concert in one of the two biggest concert
halls in Pusan;
2001, September - March 2002 studied with Prof.
Shakin
2002 ( May-July) - studied with Valeriy Shatzky (Belarus
State Academy of Music).
2002 ( August) - studied with 1st prize winner of Chopin International
Piano Competition, Prof. Regina Smendzianka in Chopin
Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland;
2002 - performed in number of concerts in Russia and Republic
of Belarus. The latest one was broadcast by the Belorussian TV and
favourably commented on in the newspapers;
2002, November - February 2003- studied with Prof. Larisa
Smeshko from Novosibirsk State Glinka Conservatory (Russia).
2003 (May) - master classes with Yaroslav
Pugach.
2003 (summer) - active participation in organizing of Summer
School and master classes with Prof. Vladimir Shakin in Yeungnam
University;
2004 ( March, 3) - piano recital in the biggest concert
hall in Busan (Busan Munhwa Haegwan)
The event was favourably commented on in the newspapers and by
two Korean TV companies like KBS ( Korean Brodcasting System) and
MBC.
